Legal Manager – Litigation & Strategy
Ssebulime Isaac is the firm’s Legal Manager and Head of Litigation & Strategy at Buwembo & Company Advocates. He leads the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice while overseeing legal operations, internal systems, strategic coordination, and client advisory services.
Isaac holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Honours from Uganda Christian University (UCU) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC).
His practice focuses on commercial litigation, corporate advisory, legal operations management, and institutional strategy. He has experience advising on a range of corporate, regulatory, and commercial matters and is particularly skilled in building efficient legal teams, strengthening operational workflows, and delivering practical solutions for both local and international clients.
Isaac has also contributed to legal and policy-oriented initiatives concerning Uganda’s business and regulatory environment, including participation in the World Bank Group’s Business Ready (B-READY) 2026 assessments on Business Insolvency and Commercial Lending in Uganda.
He is a published legal writer whose article on the regulation of social media was published in the 6th Edition of the Computer Law & Security Review Journal published by Reuters under Sweet & Maxwell.
Isaac currently heads a team of eight professionals and is driving the firm’s organizational transformation. He is also preparing to pursue his LL.M. at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he intends to further strengthen his expertise in commercial law, institutional reform, and international legal practice.
